Features:
The DymaSert cutters are one of the cutting heads that can be used for the Edco concrete floor grinder. DymaSerts are diamond grinding heads that will grind five times faster than regular grinding stones and last much longer--up to 30,000 square feet. They can be used wet or dry.
 

Applications:

• Smoothing rough surfaces or trowel marks
• Grinding or polishing terrazo
• Repairing surface damage to concrete slabs
• Removing urethane or epoxy thin-coats
• Removing thin mastics and thin-set
• Leveling high spots

For removing heavier coatings it's preferable to dig down and chip them off rather than grind every square inch from the top down. This will yield better results and save considerable time. Our Flaky Jake Cutters are another option for this type of removal. Note that for thinner coatings chipping doesn't work and you'll be best served with the DymaSert cutters.

The two-head grinder is excellent for removing surface coatings such as heavy paint accumulations, drywall mud splatter, buildups of printing press ink or machine tool oil, or anything that's just too much to be sanded. It can also be used to grind the surface of the concrete, although if you have a much to do our 9" Turbo Concrete Grinder is a better choice.
