Our Blackhawk 5 Ton Jack Stand is capable of holding up 5 tons per stand. They are rented as pairs and the rental rate reflects the cost for a pair of jack stands. Jack stands should be used top support a vehicle after it has been lifted with a hydraulic jack. Hydraulic jacks are designed for lifting only and should not be used to support a vehicle while working underneath it because they tend to fall and crush people. For this reason jack stands should be used to support the vehicle after it has been lifted and before anyone works underneath the vehicle. These are heavy duty stands that are capable of supporting large vehicles.
