The Dewalt 1/2" Cordless Hammer-Drill is a powerful tool package capable of drilling and driving screws in a wide variety of materials. Its powerful 18-volt motor is powered by an XR Series Extended Runtime battery. Two batteries as well as a 1-hour fast charger are included with the kit to ensure that you won't run out of power. The adjustable side handle helps to relieve torque wrap when drilling in tough situations and the adjustable clutch can be set to disengage at a preset torque setting when driving screws, or it can be locked up solid for drilling. The hammer mechanism can be disengaged for drilling in non-masonry materials or can be turned on to speed up drilling in concrete. The three-speed gear case allows the operator to select the best possible speed that's best suited for each application.
