Our large floor mounted Milwaukee Diamond Core Drill rig can drill holes up to 10" in diameter but sometimes there is a need to drill smaller holes on a vertical wall where mounting a large rig isn't practical or desired. In this case our hand-held diamond core drill may be a better choice.

Our hand-held unit uses the same diamond core drill bits as its big brother drill press but utilizes a more portable unit that is held by hand and doesn't require mounting to a wall. These diamond bits still require water for cooling so this unit does have a water attachment to attach a garden hose or portable pump style water tank. This unit does have a maximum core bit diameter of 4-1/2", which precludes use of larger diameter bits. But 4-1/2" is still fine for anyone drilling a hole for a 4" PVC pipe or a dryer vent. A 3-speed gearbox ensures that you'll have the right RPM for each bit size.
