The Multiquip 3,600 Watt Generator is a rugged-duty generator set designed to run a large variety of power tools on a construction site. Powered by an 8HP Honda IC Series engine, it can output 3600 watts of continuous power. At full load the generator will run for 7.5 hours on a full tank of gasoline. At 73 dBA, it's quiet for a 3600 RPM portable generator but that's for construction site standards. If you're camping or playing music at a party, you'll either need to stash this guy pretty far away or else go with our whisper-quiet 10,500 Watt Towable Generator. Its circuit panel features a 20 amp, 240 volt twist-lock receptacle; a 30 amp, 120 volt twist-lock receptacle; and a standard 120 volt duplex outlet. An auto idle control will let the generator idle down when no load is present and rev back up when the load is applied, saving both fuel and noise output. A full power switch allows the full 3600 watts to be retrieved at the 30 amp twist-lock 120 volt outlet.
