This unit doesn't produce carbon monoxide, but, like all portable heaters, they do burn oxygen. If the area is well sealed you will run out of oxygen in the area so these units are not to be used for living areas. If you are using them in a work area be sure to allow for adequate makeup air or else the unit will begin to run rich after a while and your eyes may burn. Because of the open flame design these units are not to be used in a room while spray painting or using cleaning solvents. They can be used to preheat the work area but should be removed from the room while painting and then returned after the fumes have been vented out. Fuel isn't included in the rental rate but LP tanks are available in 30 lb., 60 lb., or 100 lb. sizes. The heaters are designed
to operate on one tank, but pigtails are available to connect additional tanks to extend the run time between refills. If you have
multiple tanks you can always rotate them out when empty and exchange them for full ones without shutting down the heater for long
periods of time. Rates does not include fuel or tank rental charges. Actual propane use will be charged upon return after weighing
the tank. |
