Our 8" Diameter Scaffold Castors are designed to assist moving scaffold sections around on hard surfaces. If you are on grass or rough terrain these are not the items for you. They are narrower than the standard Scaffolding Baseplates and will dig into soft ground and settle, creating an unstable condition for your scaffolding tower. These units are 8" in diameter and have a 1-5/8" diameter stem to fit a standard # 6 tube. They are rated at 500 Lbs capacity, each. They are great for moving towers around on hard surfaces such as blacktop or concrete floors. They feature brakes to lock both the swivel and rolling action of the castor.
