The Bosch Detail Sander is an excellent choice for finish sanding in hard to get places. It can be used for sanding flat surfaces around obstructions, such as chair rungs, stairwell posts, spindles, etc. By far it's most popular use is to get into the corners when resanding hardwood floors. There's just no other tool that can get right into the corners and clean them up easily. The triangular sanding pads attach to the sander with a hook and loop fastening system. An extension also lets you get close under low overhead areas, such as toe kick spaces around kitchen cabinets. It's light weight makes it easy to handle and the powerful electric motor lets you really bear down on the tool if you have to.
