The Multiquip TLW-300SS is one of the quietest welder/generators available, emitting an impressive 65dBA at 23 feet. It is a dual purpose unit that produces up to 300 amps as a welder and 10.5 KW as a generator. The unit is powered by an economical Kubota diesel engine. Voltage regulation is maintained at 1.5 percent and as a welder its duty cycle is 100 percent up to 280 amps. This unit comes with a custom trailer with a toolbox to carry welding cables and the optional Power Distribution Box if used as a generator.

This unit is designed for continuous duty. Its 9.5-gallon fuel tank will last according to the load being run. An auto idle circuit will kick in if the welder/generator isn't drawing current. Fuel consumption ratings are as follows:

Full Load - 1.1 GPH
3/4 Load - 0.9 GPH
1/2 Load - 0.7 GPH
1/4 Load - 0.6 GPH

In addition to making a very high quality welding bead, these units are very popular as generator sets for large events where noise level is considered a factor. The unit requires a 2" trailer ball for towing and a trailer lights connection on the towing vehicle.
