Our Porter-Cable Power Plane comes with a powerful 6.0 amp motor for planing down even the toughest of hardwood doors. The
carbide blades are capable of a 3-1/4" wide maximum width and the handy microdial adjustment on the front knob makes for quick
and easy on the fly depth adjustments. The dual side exhaust port is swappable from side to side and comes with a dust bag but can
also accept a 1-1/4" exhaust host to a vacuum system if desired. The unit has a edge guide fence, a rabbetting stop, 3 chamfering grooves
and has a 11-1/2" cast aluminum shoe for the best finish qualiuty. It comes in a canvas carrying case for protection during transport.
Note that this is a precision wood planing tool. It is not for use in wood that may have embedded nails or staples nor is it suitable
for removing coatings from wood surfaces.
